First Han International Language School

First Han International Language School is dedicated to providing quality Mandarin Chinese and German instruction.  We accept students who already take Chinese/German courses but are seeking additional Mandarin/German support, and we welcome those who have NEVER had exposure to Asian/European languages, but have always wanted to try. This is your opportunity!  All levels are welcome!

At First Han International Language School, there are no age restrictions. Our classrooms are mixed-aged; yet, we provide ample opportunities for private instruction to those who wish as well.

First Han International Language School employs flexible scheduling for its classes.  We make every effort to work around just about every work or study schedule.  Students have a variety of time slots to select from; they need only choose the one that works best with their preferences and routines.

At the end of every session (10 classes), students will receive an official certificate of
achievement.  Not only is this tangible proof of a student`s progress, but is also of
potential benefit to college applications and job resumes.  Of course, the personal and
intellectual satisfaction of Mandarin language learning goes well beyond just the
institutional doors it stands to open.

In addition to having taught Chinese within the Stonington and Norwich Public School systems (German in the college), our teachers are certified World Language teachers in many States.
First Han International Language School is a town, state and federal registered Mandarin/German language learning school.

On April 30, 2014, the eight-year-old Annika Shah was learning how to count in

Chinese during her class in First Han International Language School with

Mr. Feng.

On April 28, 2014, the middle school student Devin Shah, was teaching high school

Mandarin Chinese in First Han International Language School during his class.

On July 15, 2013, Rachael Marseglia, who is an eight years old second grader, receive her certificate

of completing Mandarin II Chinese study in First Han International Language School, which is equal to

seventh and eighth grades’ two years and ninth grade’ whole year’s Mandarin study, while her mom,

Anne Marseglia was present at the ceremony.
